Auditions are now open for Goldfields Music Theatre's next production.
We’ve kept this first release deliberately simple: the core Annie Jr. information, the audition timeline, downloadable audition material, and two clear submission paths for performers and production team interest.
Set in Depression-era New York, Annie Jr. follows a determined young girl who refuses to give up on the hope that her parents will return. From Miss Hannigan’s orphanage to Oliver Warbucks’ mansion, the show balances heart, humour, grit and optimism.
This production is being positioned as a youth-focused musical theatre opportunity with strong ensemble participation, featured roles, and a supportive pathway for young performers and families.
Annie has spent years holding onto a note and locket left by the parents she barely remembers. When she is chosen to spend Christmas with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, her world shifts dramatically. What begins as a temporary holiday placement becomes a larger search for belonging, family, and where Annie truly fits.
